A loud curse rang through the apartment. Specs looked up from the book he was reading as Dutchy came in, looking somewhat annoyed. He was frowning deeply. Specs also noticed that…it was rather cold in the apartment.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
"The thermostat's broken." Dutchy replied. He blushed at the next sentence that he had to say. "We're-uh-going to have to share the bed to keep warm tonight. I already called the landlady and she won't be able to get someone over to fix until tomorrow."
"Ok."
"That's it?" Dutchy asked. "No smart-ass remark?"
"I'm really not up to it." Specs answered calmly, going back to his book. Dutchy's eyebrows went up but he didn't say anything. "Well, are you ready to turn in?"
"Um…I think."
"Alright, then." Specs got up and went to his bag. He pulled out a pair of dark green flannel pajama pants. Specs went into the bathroom and came back out a few minutes later, teeth brushed and changed.
Dutchy also got ready for bed-after locking up and shutting off all the lights-and when he went into the bedroom, Specs was already lying down on one side. Dutchy got in the other side and faced the wall, turning off the light.
"There's nothing wrong with it." Specs said after a long pause.
"Nothing wrong with what?"
"Liking boys."
"I'm not gay." Dutchy said sternly, sitting up and looking over at Specs. The brunette turned over and smirked at him. Dutchy grabbed his glasses off the nightstand and put them on. Specs had already grabbed his and put them on as well. "I'm not!"
"Mmhm."
"I'm not!!"
"Would you stake your life on that?" Specs asked.
"Yes!"
Specs lunged forward and grabbed Dutchy. He held him down and pressed his mouth tightly to Dutchy's. Dutchy squirmed for a moment before realizing he couldn't escape…and that Specs was a damn good kisser. Specs pulled back and smirked down at the gasping blonde.
"Eeh-eeh. Wrong answer, you're dead." Specs said softly, moving off of Dutchy and lying back down on his side of the bed.
