I'll Miss You, Dale

On February 18, 2001 the world suffered a loss of a legend.

He died in a fatal crash on the last turn of the last lap of the Daytona 500 -- The race he loved the most. He was proudly defending his team, Michael Waltrip and son Dale Earnhardt Jr., who took the win.

I'll never forget the man who had such a big part in my life, my family. I know that he'll still be up where ever he is watching all the races and looking out for his team and family. I only wish I could do more to show how much I miss him.

Sometimes heaven can only stand to lend us its shining stars for so long. But "The Man In Black" is immortal and will never truly die as long as the millions who remember never let him go. In a mere heartbeat, a hero was lost and lives were forever changed. Goodbye old friend. Thanks for everything.
